If you’re looking for a pair of 5.5 shorts that are cheap and very comfortable… Meripex Apparel is the way to go. About two weeks ago I wanted to buy a pair of chubbies but after seeing how expensive it cost for a pair I started searching around the web to see a cheaper yet comfortable alternative. after finding Meripex Apparel and seeing it’s mix review, I decided to give these shorts a shot. After waiting for three days, I finally got them and you won’t believe how comfortable these shorts are!!! I Just ordered another two pair of shorts and I can’t wait to get them!! After reading the reviews I ordered a Medium, I usually wear 30 in waist. They fit but are really baggy, I don’t need the button to put therm on. I wore them a few days and I should of returned them before wearing, Hope they shrink a bit after the first wash. I measured the inseam and it’s only 5″, but due that they ride low they feel and look longer. A day latter, they just plan suck!!! Going into the recycle bin.!!!!! The seller contacted me and offered to replace the pair with the correct size. I ordered a small black pair and the fit real nice. Very happy with them.

Very comfortable, looks good on. Colorfast in wash, didn’t shrink. Excellent pair of shorts. The shorts are a great length. (not the goofy looking long “shorts” of the last 10 years). The only downside for me is I’m left-handed, and there is no pocket on the left side where I would normally have my wallet. If you sometimes keep your phone in your back pocket, it will have to share with your wallet. Oh well, they’re nice shorts anyway, just not perfect, or I’d have given them 6 stars. 😉

As someone whose waist is smaller than it should be (relative to my thighs), these fit perfectly! The elastic band is very good and allows me to wear the 32-34 size (my actual waist is 33) very comfortably. I typically have issues with my waist fitting into smaller pants but my thighs requiring me to wear a size up, but that is not an issue with these. I highly recommend it, especially for guys with a non-skinny stomach. While the pictures listed don’t do them any justice, they look very stylish in person!

I bought these for the beach and relaxed wear around the house. I have worn them a couple times in public, but they are a little short to wear confidently. But that’s not why I gave them 3 stars. For the price, they haven’t met all of my expectations. The elastic is so long in the waist that at 31″, I could have worn a small and been perfectly comfortable. The legs are a little baggy and are not quite long enough in the back. The belt loops are not elastic and are too small for most of my belts. Also, the tag on the waist was so scratchy I had to get a thread-puller and remove it. They are comfortable, and my SO likes them. I’m happy with them overall, but they could definitely be better.

I never leave reviews… but after constantly being disappointed with shorts and looking everywhere for the perfect pair, these have finally brought my search to an end. I have muscular thighs and a butt, so I’d have to get a larger waist size to compensate, but that would always leave a gap. These have fixed that problem with the elastic waistband. They look and feel great and I will definitely be buying them in other colors.

For some reason it seems hard to find shorts that fit me. That should not be the case. It is probable that I just don’t like current styles. I am 5’10” tall which is just about average for an American Male. I weigh about 190lbs I am an avid cyclist and am fairly muscular. Most shorts that are produced now come all the way down to the knees or sometimes below. Because I am athletic and in shape I have good legs and am not ashamed to show them. I also live in the deep south where it is HOT most of the year. If I am wearing shorts it is because I want to be cool. I love these shorts because they fit very well. They are not to long and the waistline is not too high. They fit very well and they flex and stretch and move with you. They are constructed to be perfect for use in the gym but they look good and functional enough to wear them just knocking around. I LIKE THEM A LOT!
