I don’t write many reviews but nowadays it seems hard to find a nice pair of shorts or pants that are in style but don’t pinch the fleshier people such as myself. As mentioned by the previous reviewer, the waist here is forgiving so feel free to lounge in these all day. But they still hold up well enough to go out casually. I bought the jade frost (green) pair and the color was as described. Can’t yet speak for the quality- they look good out of the box and after a few washes. All in all I am pleased with my purchase and Amazon delivery was top notch as usual.

Great shorts. Good quality, nice color, fit just right. My husband buttons shorts low around the waist (bit of a belly) and is 5’10” so the picture shows where they sit on him. Would buy again.

These shorts meet expectations for size and comfort. The one I received had a (correctable) flaw in that the flap covering the front zipper was incorrectly ironed, leaving the zipper partially exposed.

Bought these in Sailor Red and Blue Indigo after a paint spill on my True Navy pair. They fit true to size, hit above the knee, and allow good freedom of movement. The fabric has a bit of give, a bit of heft, and holds up to wear and tear. I’m a big guy, and hard on my clothes, and I’ve thrown these in the wash over and over, but they haven’t shrunk or faded in any discernible way, and feel as comfortable as ever. Great value for the money.

Solid pair of shorts for lounging on the weekends. The 34W fits as expected, the sizing is accurate, and the waist band has a bit of give to it anyways. In the length these are definitely an above the knee cut. Got the Jade Frost color which looks like it does in the picture, hoping that the color does not fade too much over time but not planning anything major in them so likely using a lighter wash cycle will help. Planning on picking up a few other colors as summer progresses

I ordered theses shorts in my usual pants size and what I received …. was a great fit. Horay for consistent sizing! With more brick and mortar clothing stores closing every day, I find myself going to Amazon for my purchases. One obvious drawback is the ability to try on clothing before purchasing. I try to stick with reputable brands such as Nautica because an item marked as size Large will fit like a US size Large. When one purchases an off-brand item, it is a gamble as to whether the item is intended for consumers in Asia (smaller sizes).
In any event, these shorts fit well and look great. With an 8.5 inch inseam, the hem hits right at the knee. They are versatile as they can be paired with either a t-shirt or a buttoned shirt. I have purchased these shorts in a couple of colors. Love them.

I bought a couple pair of Nautica shorts from Amazon on a daily deal. I tried them on upon arrival and the fit was as expected. I’m running them through the wash and will note if any shrinkage occurs during the cycle.
The colors are classic: white and khaki. I’d expect these shorts to be like previous pairs of Nautica and last for a couple years.
Nautica is always a safe buy and should be comfortable for daily wear while looking classy.

I generally wear 33 waist trousers. These shorts after the initial washing, they no longer fit, especially at the waist. By the time I got to the issue, the return window has expired.

My 4 stars was because the fabric was not the cotton chino stiffer feel I wanted. This is more like a soft linen feel. Great shorts though. Good for a summer dress up event. Not too long and not too short. I’m 6’2″ and 180 lbs and the shorts sit above the knee.
