These are nice, plain front shorts. I’m a pretty big guy, so the straight fit seems just a bit snug for my tastes. But I tend to wear my clothes loose. If your looking for shorts with just a bit more room, try the “PGA TOUR Men’s Expandable Flat Front Short”. Overall, though, I’m happy with this purchase and I have been wearing these shorts alot.

Cool 18’s are comfortable, look great, hold a crease and dry quickly. Most of the members at my golf club wear Cool 18’s. The stretch waist band is definitely a plus and the pockets are reasonably deep. The only two suggestions I have are; taper the shorts and make them about 1 inch shorter. I have mine tailored this way and the feel a lot better when they are just above the knee as see in the Hagger Ads. Also, one should read the material specs before buying. Haggar introduced a Cool18 gabardine that , in my opinion, was an inferior product with shallow pockets and a nasty gabardine material which was uncomfortable and didn’t dry as quickly.

The shorts need additional belt loops between the 1st and 2nd loops from the front center of the pants. The shorts tend to drop down between the two loops a lot. If you have a shirt tucked in, that is where it becomes untucked. If wearing a shirt not tucked in, the shorts drop below the belt and the belt now is in contact with your skin.
I won’t buy these again and would recommend against it particularly if you wear larger sizes like me (40 waist).

I bought these shorts for my husband since he never likes to shop for himself. He really likes them and finds them very comfortable to wear. He prefers the longer length too which hits at his knees. They are dressy/stylish enough that they would be fine for him to wear to a summer party but still feel relaxed. The material doesn’t show wrinkles much either which also adds to its good look. Glad I bought them for him.

Forgive the pun but these are excellent quality shorts. Soft, nice styling and fit as noted with a little give for those BBQ days. A good buy.

I must wear the proper attire at work. Due to the astronomical hot weather, I’m allowed to wear shorts that looks professional. I strongly agree this product is comfortable, light weight, and looks extremely professional. Although its a bit pricey than the other brands, you wouldn’t regret paying the price. I bought another one because I’m extremely satisfied. The stretch bands makes it more comfortable while moving around. Good job on making this product.

I have worn Haggar Cool 18 shorts for many years. The older ones were better made, with a different fabric and more accurate length. Newer ones seem to vary in length, and fabrics not always the same depending on the color. They still wash well, and retain the crease. Just replaced six colors that were still OK, but hidden stretch waistband eventually wears out after about 10 years!

I generally don’t buy shorts because they rarely fit me. I have large thighs (Roughly 29in around) and I am 6’1 so most shorts are too short for comfort or too tight around my legs. I purchased a 34 as most of my pants are that size and I WAS WRONG! I would put up pictures but they may get flagged for porn they were so tight. The material feels amazing and light so I will be buying a different size for golf but hopefully this review helps someone with the size.

I love these shorts. They fit well around my hips with a 40 waist, even though I’m in the process of losing belly fat. (They have that famous adjustable Hagger waist) They look nice with a black shirt that doesn’t accentuate my tummy, and when I wear a black mock turtleneck, they can be dress shorts. The one’s in the picture are ~3 years old and show a few horizontal wrinkles. I recently bought 2 more pairs that look perfectly creased.

I discovered this brand about three years ago, and I am never going back to any other type of shorts. They are comfortable and lightweight. Most important they are perfect for *ahem* bigger men. The waistband is stretchy just the way I need it to be.

•I have noticed they get dirty very easily. Nothing a wash can’t fix but, I am astonished how quickly they accumulate dirt.
Overall, I recommend these for anyone that wants to show off their legs while being comfortable.

For a perfect fit, I wear a size 37 waist, but rarely can I find a 37 waisted garment. So, I either have to get a 38 that is too large or a 36 that fits snug. Ordered a 36 in these and the expandable waist band stretches just enough to fit perfectly without there being any discomfort or jumbled excess.
Fit so good, I ordered two more pair. The material looks good too.

The perfect golf shorts for hot weather. They are light weight, breathable, fashionable, and comfortable. The stretchy waistband is my favorite part. I am a very sweaty guy, and I wore them in 90°+ for a round of golf and I never saw any sweat marks on my shorts. My only regret is not buying more than two pairs.

I currently have 4 pairs of the Haggar 18’s and I love them. My only “issue” with them would be the sizes. I have 40s in plain grey and they fit like a dream and still do. I ordered some more and needed 42s. Not the end of the world but just a heads up.

I have ordered these shorts twice now from Amazon because my husband loves them. However both times I was sent the wrong size when I clearly marked his correct size when ordering. Not sure what is going on but not doing this a third time. A shame because my hubby really liked them. Guess I will order elsewhere

I have been using their type of shorts for years now, very comfortable and wrinkle free/color fade free. Maybe a a tiny bit on the shorter side of shorts but it is still good given that some shorts you buy elsewhere loose its color after a wash or two

They seem to be very nice shorts. Since I only received them last week it is too early to make a proper review. I bought them a size larger than I wear because of other reviewers suggested to do so. At this point they are a bit large, but I was expecting that at this stage.The material seems be nice but thin. I am a bit worried that they may be “see through”. The light yellow color is more yellow than expected and more than the photo indicates. The sand color is perfect.

Finally, shorts that doesn’t just look good, but are very comfortable. I have thick thighs, perhaps I shouldn’t work out so much; and I’ve been looking for comfortable shorts and these fit the bill. One of the reasons they’re so comfortable is the added stretch, and the expandable waistband. Of course I purchased two more pair in different colors. BTW, I enjoy working out and won’t stop.

Very pleased with these Haggar shorts. They’re light, comfortable, and best of all, Haggar understands men my age and the need to build in stretch at the waist. I got really tired of buying shorts that, with a belt, felt like I was tying a tight rope around my waist. I don’t feel that with these shorts.
