(I always wear a belt with 34 shorts as most 33’s are just too snug for my liking.
Have been washed 6× in warm water with no fraying or color washout.
BEST FEATURE is the rt side lower zipper pocket.
2 upper front pockets allow separation of cell phone & keys, while lower rt zippered pocket houses my wallet.
The lower rt zippered pocket is just wide enough to allow my fat wallet to enter.
My wallet fits in this lower zippered pocket securely & comfortably, and gets my posterior clear of the dreaded “wallet lump.”
No more discomfort from sitting partially on my wallet while seated.
Top rt pocket houses my cell phone securely.
Left pocket houses keys, so keeping keys & cell phone separated means no scratching of cell phone screen with keys.

I ordered 4 different pairs of shorts, all in the same size. All of them fit, except these. Way too big. Exchanged them for one size smaller, and they fit. Other than the fact that they run big, they really are great shorts. Durable and they look good.

These are everything I wanted in a pair of shorts. A classy look for parties or a date night. Deep pockets and the side pocket that fits my iPhone X without bulging out or being uncomfortable. A winner that I finally found. Last comment, my wife and kids do feel the shorts are too short. They are about 5” above my knee. I do have long legs at 5’11”

I have a muscular butt and legs, and I search for a good cut of shorts to show it, that will wear well. These shorts hug gently in the rear and along the legs without being tight (there’s a taper to the leg under the seat that you usually only see in shorts over $80). Also, the inseam is slightly shorter than what’s common on the market, so they have less of a skateboarder look, and more of a male model fit. Best of all, they stretch with you, so you can move in perfect fit and comfort. I was on the hunt for a stylish, minimalist non-cotton based short (a well made synthetic short like this will last you a decade), and this short exceeded my expectations. My initial concern was whether the pattern would be too heathered in person, and I’m glad to say it was not. High quality pattern, fabric, and cut at a great price. And this particular color of grey is on the rich, natural hued end of the greys, rather than the flat, cement end of that spectrum. These shorts are a really good find on Amazon!

I’m a36″ waistline, these are a 38 and I ordered a 34. I took them to my tallor who said she could sew a dart in them for $10. Now I’m thinking I’ll order the 32 and keep the one that fits best. I think it’s worth the trouble because for the price, you won’t find a better golf/casual dress short anywhere. Very classy. I ordered the grey.

I bought these shorts at the same time as several other pairs of hybrid shorts to try and determine which kind I liked best. This was the cheapest pair that I ordered, costing just $23 at the time of this review. I wasn’t expecting much and so I guess I wasn’t to surprised by the quality.
What I didn’t like:
– The material of the shorts was very swimsuit like with the “texture” simply printed on
– The inside of the shorts are white and can be seen when sitting
– The buttonhole is too small and makes it difficult to undo the button and will likely cause the button string to tear after limited use
