I bought these for my hubby and I love the color. It is like a stone or cement blue….not common and it looks masculine and unique. I did find the 34 was a bit baggy for him which normally is his size so I went down with a 33.

My husband loves these shorts! He drives a boat taxi and collects tips all day. The pockets zip closed so he doesn’t lose anything. They have the cut of regular shorts but with board shorts material so he can jump in the lake when he gets too hot.

These shorts are great. They look good and can be double as baggies if I feel the sporadic need to hop in the ocean(which happens pretty often). My only issue is the stretch. They stretch a little more than I’d like between washes. I try to wear pants/shorts 2x or 3x between washing/drying them(if I stain/get the garment dirty I’ll wash right away). Outside of that issue I really enjoy these.
I forgot to mention that I would prefer these have a draw string like some other hybrid shorts. Thats my other issue. I buy hybrids b/c they’re stupid comfortable, can be used as baggies/trunks, AND walking shorts. Hope that helps.

I had a pair of these that I had worn to death and couldn’t find a replacement in the stores. Luckily I found them on Amazon. They had my size and many colors, so I bought one of each. Fantastic fit and fabric.

Cargos are out fellas, these are in style and are awesome shorts. Light material not heavy feel and look great with something casual or dressing up a bit. Perfect,stylish shorts.

Great shorts for day-to-day on vacation. The material is light and can easily double as board shorts. And that’s great because I love that these shorts have pockets – a feature usually lacking on board shorts. They fit a little bigger than I would expect for the size I usually get in shorts, but not too big. More like a “relaxed fit”, I guess. All in all, I love these shorts. I’ll probably get one in every color offered.

I bought a similar pair of Volcom SNT Frickin’ Khaki shorts and those are great! These are equally great and wonderful shorts! Volcom Men’s Kerosene 21″ Hybrid Chino Shorts may be the nicest pair of shorts I own now. Tosh would say “It’s High Fashion”. Very lightweight, comfy, and stylish! Perfect length, perfect fit! You’re gonna love them!

They run a tad bit small as most clothing does on Amazon for me. I wear a 34, ordered a 36 and that worked.

really big for a 32. 32″ waisted people are small, these shorts are way too big. they might have worked had i had a large butt.

My lifestyle is outdoors. These shorts are honestly my favorite hybrids (and I’ve bought a lot of different kinds). Price point is pretty good, but it’s the comfort and tech of the shorts I truly like. They have a normal look to them, but are light feeling as boardshorts should be. They don’t feel cheap which is good and the zipper pockets are a MUST. These are worth spending the extra few bucks on instead of some cheap ones

These look and fit much like the original Volcom chino shorts, but they use the light and stretchy hybrid material. They are in the sweet spot where they can be dressed up or down. The cell phone pocket is a requirement for me, so I’m really happy to see Volcom add it to hybrids like this. Since Volcom likes to remove or change clothing lines so often these days, I bought five different colors of this Kerosene model, just in case they discontinue it. Hopefully these will last me 5+ years like the original Chino did.
