I like these over the longer short pants with cargo pockets that are on the market. Had shorts like these 40 years ago and when the last one finally fell apart I could not find them being sold anywhere. I was SHOCKED, yes really to find these in Amazon and bought a pair immediately. I will be buying more of them. They are much more comfortable then the knee length shirts common today.

I like these, but they’re not amazing. They do seem like they will hold up great and I do like that the pockets are deeper than some of my other comparable shorts. The pockets go all the way to about an inch from the seam of the leg. They are really short, but I expected that. I ordered a 31″ and I normally wear 32″, but they fit great. I will probably wear these around the house and yard and maybe at the beach. The bad is that they “shrivel” at the leg seams and ironing is almost futile, so I would say you can dry these, but don’t over-dry them.

The 5” short is a great length, and I am happy to see it becoming more common. At 5’10”, these are squarely in the mid-thigh territory. I like this length, but I know some guys consider these to be shorter than they are comfortable with. For reference, these are the same length as a pair of classic fit Chubbies that I own – at a much lower price point. The build quality is nice, and they have a nice trim fit. The fabric is soft and has just enough stretch that make these useful for light activity like hiking or throwing a football around. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size down. I normally wear a 34 (5’10” ~200 lbs), and the 33 fit perfectly.

Yeah, definitely shorter than most guys are “comfortable” with these days. I say “get over it” -your vitamin D deficiency will thank you. Besides, IMHO, if we can’t see your knees, you’re not wearing shorts -you’re wearing “shants”. It’s summer… ACT LIKE IT, LOL!
These babies are breezy, light, and heckin’ comfortable with deep pockets and a double-button waistband. My ONLY gripe is that (being 98% cotton) they wrinkle like crazy in the drier, and I find myself having to iron the hems. Knocking off one star for that -they could solve this with a stretchier material.

Nice product for the price! As others have mentioned they are short (this is to be expected when having a 5” inseam), but not overly so. They are perfect for guys with shorter legs, like myself, or if you simply prefer a shorter length.
They are lightweight and seem to have a little give to them, so they could be comfortably worn all day. I will say, however, the leg openings are a little wide so if your legs are on the lean side, you may find them to be slightly baggy. I’m a larger guy (38w) and feel I have ample leg room.
The color (burgundy) is as expected. Overall, a nice addition to the summer wardrobe.

These shorts are perfect. I love the length, which is slightly shorter than I anticipated. The stretchy material is a nice touch too! I bought a pair from bearbottom but they were out of this color so I tried these out. These were half the price and more flattering! Will likely buy more colors.

I was a little nervous about these shorts, since the 5” inseam is a lot shorter than I’m used to. I’m glad I took the risk because I love these shorts. They’re comfortable, they have just the right amount of flex, and they fit very well. I feel confident when wearing these shorts and you just have to rock them. I even ordered a second pair in black! I highly recommend them!

Excellent shorts. The length is perfect on my vertically challenged legs. Just enough flexibility on the waist band, I’m a 37″ waist and 36″ waist shorts fit perfectly. I live in the Key West and these light weight shorts are perfect for the tropical weather here. I bought two pair and will be buying more.

I’ve been looking for real shorts for years. The 5″ inseam is perfect. Not too short. Not too long. They are shorter than what’s been on the market for the last couple of decades but if you miss the shorts from the 80’s you are in luck. They don’t fit as tightly as they did back then which makes them the perfect compromise. I actually saw someone else wearing some at work so I’m sure the style is making a comeback.

I have been searching far and wide for shorts like this. I’m not a big fan of those long ones that go to your knee and as I have a very athletic body these stretch pretty good and allow for a comfortable waist even after a big meal. LOL ! Are usually have to get size 34 because there’s never 33. The site allows for 33‘s which is right up my alley. I’m 45 years old and these are reminiscent of the old ladies tennis shorts when you get them in a 33 waist 5 inch seam. I cannot stress how amazing these are and the price is well, coming from New York City, a steal! I went ahead and bought three more pairs and considering a fifth. That’s how g$d damn good they are.

These shorts are very comfortable. I’m a 35 waist and I ordered a 36. It fits perfect. The inseam is short, but I find the longer the length, the more it looks like you are wearing your sisters summer shorts. I’ve got good legs so no reason to wear those baggy things they have been pushing as “cargo shorts” for the past 30 years at Walmart. Seriously, this is a good product, they fit really well, nice fabric texture. I just ordered two more pair in different colors. And they are made in Bangladesh,, a poor country that needs our business. Buy!

As a short person, it’s hard to find shorts that don’t make me look like I’m ready to hit the skate park. These are great for hanging out in the yard or active pursuits. Love the bonus watch pocket too. Stitching looks good and the material exceeds my expectations for the price. I love these shorts. I mean, 5″ shorts are the new trend. Especially if you’re in college, gotta show off the quads you know what I mean? The colors are all super cool, unfortunately they seem to always be out of stock of the main colors that everyone wants, but the colors that they do have are pretty nice.
The only issue I have with these is that they wrinkle a LOT. Like it’s kinda annoying, I feel like I have to iron them all the time. But for how much I paid and how good they look, I’d say it’s pretty worth it. Summer here I come

One draw back & Solution: These shorts are held by 2 buttons. Fair enough, but the inner button is a royal pain to secure. The solution is easy: Secure the inner button first and pull the shorts up.

Well-constructed, good fit at waist. Leg openings somewhat wide for the waist size, imparting somewhat of a ‘miniskirt’ look, especially if not worn high enough.
Shorts waistline should be worn at natural waist – not low as in with most contemporary jeans/slacks.

For $20 these shorts aren’t bad. They’re a bit on the shorter side but if you have nice legs, they’re great. I don’t think they show off too much leg. I’m 5’7” and they cover about 2/3 of my upper leg. Be warned, they do shrink so don’t use high heat. I’d suggest air drying these.

Great purchase, the best shorts I have. These are really short but not indecent even though some don’t like that. Very comfortable and relaxed to wear it with a pair of leather sandals and shirt. Many colors to choose from, I own 3 and will get more.
