I ordered two different colors. They came in separate packages and the first order was what I expected (brand name), but the second one was in navy blue and generic. It’s good quality but not what was listed on the page. I needed shorts for the weekend so I used them and decided to keep them. But beware and check for authenticity.

As I’ve said in other Quicksilver amphibian short reviews they are by far the best. These are the only shorts I buy now. They’re moisture wicking stretchy, great for hiking if you want to take a swim while you’re out hiking they dry super fast. Great casual wear very sharp looking. They last forever. They just don’t seem to wear out. I really enjoy them they fit as expected.

Bought these for my teens for trip to Hawaii. My kids loved them!! They could go surfing in the afternoon and then go to a nice restaurant in the evening. Very versatile and with enough pockets to hold all their “gadgets”.

What I got was not the color in the photo. I received teal colored shorts not green shorts. They fit good but I don’t like the color. Not close to the same color as the picture.

This is my second pair of these shorts, and they are the only two pairs of shorts I find myself wanting to wear! The fabric of these is extremely comfortable, but still has a decent look that can be worn even if the beach/pool is nowhere in the plan for the day. The waist is snug, but comfortable. The length is just right, and they have standard pockets front and rear. Just great shorts.

These are the only type of shorts that I buy. The fabric is super soft stretchy. I can wear them swimming and I can wear them out, hiking climbing pretty much any activity. They’re extremely sharp looking. Amphibian shorts are my favorite. I think I have about seven pairs now I’ve ordered a few more that’ll come in a week or so with this virus and slow shipping.

Bought a pair to see how they fit and actual color $39.. Returned to buy a couple more pairs. Now the price is $50-$60.. I will Pass. Not worth it for polyester!!

These are nice lightweight fabric, fast drying, nice look for going out but also for swimming if needed. Good fit .. not too loose or baggy but not too tight

Excellent fit, exceptionally comfortable, moves with you. Nothing to not like about these. Lost a bit of weight during Covid so I needed new shorts and the 33 was perfect fit for me… now I have several 34s that need to be altered

Good quality. Was hoping for a little slimmer cut, shorter mid knee length and more stretch. Instead they were very wide in the legs and several inches below the knee.

Quiksilver make the BEST shorts. The fit is perfect (true to size), the fabric is awesome, and the style is top notch. Great array of colors, too. HIGHLY recommend.

I bought these shorts at the same time as several other pairs of hybrid shorts to try and determine which kind I liked best. These ones had a very distinctive fabric that felt very crisp and was likely to dry faster than all the other shorts. These would probably be the best for regular water use.
Good:
– I actually really liked the color of these ones (light gray)
– Good quick dry fabric
– Laid nicely in the front without any bunching
Bad:
– The right side pocket seems to bulge open, which ruined the smooth flat look.
– The fabric felt a little stiff and not quite “normal shorts” enough. These are definitely more on the water-side of hybrid shorts.

This is the second time purchasing these shorts. The first pair I picked up at a Marriott gift shop in Tampa, like them so much I ordered this pair off of Amazon. Everything was the same except the new does not fit like the other ones. Definitely smaller. It’s not a weight gain issue because I still have the othe pair which were bought three months ago
