Oh_Chasquido –
At 5’7 150lbs, I got a large and it fits loose enough for me to be comfortable. I love that they match any bathing suit and I can actually play instead of worrying about my butt falling out. I loved them so much I got a second pair.

I ordered a small and a medium given all the reviews that the shorts ran small. I’m normally an XS or small (5’2” 1/2 and about 113 lbs). The small works well but could be a bit tighter. The medium was huge. Guess I should have stuck to my normal two sizes. Oh well.
I really don’t like things that cut into me and create lumps and bumps of any kind. For that reason I’m keeping the small. I won’t bother to get the XS bc I think the shorts would then be too short on me. I love the fold over top of the shorts… very comfortable and does cut into me at all!

These are great swim shorts. I like the flattering look. You can fold down the panel in the front or pull it all the way up for full coverage. Does not have an inner lining. You will need to size up for sure. I am glad I saw that the label changes from ‘Women’s’ to ‘Juniors’ once you add it to your cart. Once I received the shorts, one of the tags clearly indicated, “Roxy Girl.” I have bought these before in various sizes. I personally like more room and this time, I bought 2 sizes up from my previous pairs as I want to use them for water sports. I will wear a bikini bottom inside to avoid unnecessary exposure. I highly recommend these shorts, but definitely size up, especially if you wear a bikini underneath.

I used these shorts my entire vacation and just switched out my tops. Flattering and covered my belly which I’m super self conscious about. I used the sizing guide to choose my size and the fit was true. The shorts didn’t ride up and stayed where they were supposed to. The top part didn’t roll down and the leg holes weren’t tight. If you aren’t comfortable with your body like I am then these shorts are the answer. They really freed my mind so I could just enjoy myself.

Bought these specifically as maternity shorts and I’m so glad I did. They stretch in the belly band just like any maternity pants do.
I’m currently 7months pregnant
5’4” 138lbs
Small/medium pre-pregnancy
Got medium in these and they’re perfect and cute!

I was about 21 weeks pregnant when I purchased these and only had a small baby bump. It was perfect for swimming/snorkeling in Hawaii! They are cute and they dry fast. I would normally wear a smaller size like Medium or even Small but with the bump, the Large was perfect. I am 5’2″ and was 130 lbs at the time. I just tried them on last week now at 31 weeks pregnant weighting 140 and they still fit perfectly. I’ll be swimming in them these next few weeks and hopefully they’ll still fit fine after I give birth. 🙂

They seem to run just a little big but I was glad because they sit smoothly on you without cutting in and making you look lumpy! The suit I ordered from J.Crew was really high cut and I felt a little exposed. So I decided I just need some board shorts to complete the look in these coordinate perfectly

I got these to cover my ever growing area during pregnancy lol and they are very comfortable, short enough to feel just like bikini bottoms, and the waistband is like they were made for preggos! I got a small but could prob use a medium as I grow.

Shirts are super comfy and cute. They kinda look like maternity shorts… I wore them over a bikini bottom and they were perfect for the beach! The only thing is that they’re not made for big booties, so if you got junk in your trunk, size up.

Love it!! I am 5’6” and 140lb. I was planing on getting a medium size but due to the reviews I decided to go up a size and I am glad I did. Not tight at all. Since I have a fair amount of butt/thighs compared of my chest and arms, the large fit perfect! Hope this was helpful:)
ZOEYLOVESTOSHOP –
Love these, they are juniors size so if your not a junior order a size up (I did and they fit great) the wait band is comfortable and flattering. They are a little on the short side
Amanda White –
I am totally in love with these! I wasn’t expecting them to feel like a bathing suit–they are stretchy. But also, so nicely shaped like a short that you don’t feel like you’re wearing a weird pair of panties in front of all of God’s green earth. The best part is the waistband is super tall so you can pull it up under your rashguard, etc. and you won’t get sunburned on your lower back. These are perfect for water sports and walking in and out of the water. LOVE.

Runs slightly big around waist but once washed it’s perfect! Im 5’1 & 114pounds Waist size 24 and thighs are thick. So this fits lose on my waist and perfect around the thighs. But once washed it fits perfect around both waist and thighs. It stretches a lot. If you like a tight fit and have thin legs and a tiny waist id order extra small.
Andrew –
These shorts are pretty short but the fit is so nice! A lot of board shorts I found have the elastic waistband and grab at the sides. I hate that! These are great because they have the large elastic band you fold down. No muffin top. These shorts were $34 in the department store but I got a good deal on Amazon! I’m 5’5 and 130lb – I bought a small.
LTTaniguchi –
Love these shorts for casual summer wear. Super comfortable, especially due to the roll-down top. Definitely juniors sizing…medium fits me well (short and roomy but great fit overall) at 5’2″, 115 lbs.
ReggaeMuffin –
I LOVE these shorts. I bought them for an upcoming beach vacation but I ended up using them for all sorts of things like general outings and working out. I love that they have a hidden tie, which is great for cardio work outs- a lot of my other work out shorts gradually fall down so I end up yanking them up every other minute. Not with these.
I didn’t really test the water resistance of these – I bought them mainly as a coverup to walk around in, not swim. I got a small- I’m 5’5 and 120. Fit is perfection.
Lola –
Very happy with these shorts but definitely a couple of items to mention. I’m normally a size small but sized up to medium based on the reviews. The shorts were loose around my waist but there is a draw string so problem solved. I probably could have gone with a small. However I carry most of my weight in my glutes so the medium gives perfect, slightly cheeky, coverage. A small most likely would have been to short for my liking.
Meghabyte –
I am 5’8″, just under 150#, and have an athletic build. I ordered a size up (Large) based on the reviews of people saying these shorts are ‘juniors’ sizing. The large fits, but I it’s loose around the waist and would slide right off in the surf. I’m keep them since I bought them for a jungle hike where we may get wet. If I order these in another pattern/color, I’ll be ordering a size Medium, which I find to be my true size.
belle –
I love these shorts, but ended up returning because they are not lined. I don’t want to wear it on top of swim bottoms. I am 5.6 and 125lbs, S fit perfectly.
Jessica Yoes –
Love these shorts. I have another pair that was purchased a few years ago. I’m pregnant so I needed a size up. 130lbs 5’4 and had to get a large so that they would be comfy and not snug. Normally 110lbs. The mediums were still fitting, but not as comfortable. That foldover band is perfect whether you have a bump or not. Definitely think sizing up is the way to go.
Amazon Customer –
I have not tried these in the water yet, I got them for waking boarding. I have just worn them around the house. There is no liner with these so I suggest planning to wear bikini bottoms. So you might want to go up a size. You might want to go up another size just because they run small. I am a size 10 and got an XL but normally get a large. Everyone said to go up a size but I should have gone up 2 sizes! They fit ok with undies, but a swim suit will look even tighter. They are a loose fit on the thighs, not digging in and a slight flair. But I think the lady parts area is too tight. Which is going to look worse with a swim suit. If you are worried about the waist being to tight the band is really loose, it won’t give you a muffin top! There is also a drawstring in the band so if you do order too big, you can make sure they fit.
Amazon Customer –
Sooo comfortable! I’m 5’3 115 pounds and I ordered a small and it fits perfect. Not tight at all. The material on top that folds down is very soft and stretchy. The shorts are also stretchy and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
james price –
These are lightweight and comfortable. I am 5’6, 175 lbs (not much booty-fairly big thighs) and I started with a large, but ended up exchanging them for an XL. The large cut into my sides (muffin top) and I wanted a bit more length. The XL isn’t much longer, but fit just right. I plan to wear them over my swimsuit and am happy with the XL. I would recommend them. Hope this helps:)
Nina –
Perfect board shorts for workout or water activities. I love the higher waist band and the drawstring. I am 5’1” 145 pounds and I ordered a medium in the black and they fit perfect.
aimee clarke –
Cute and comfy—wore these a ton in Kauai. Only complaint is they didn’t have lining so I had to wear other swimsuit bottoms underneath.
Deb hofer –
Love these beach shorts. I ordered large and extra large, however the large fit the best. No built in underwear with these shorts just as FYI…
Montana Jill –
I’ve made the switch to swim shorts, and these are pretty great. I wish they had an “underwear layer” so I would have to either feel naked or layer them, but I love the stretchy folding waistband and the material dries super quickly. I’m 29.5” waist and 39.5” hips and the large is perfect.
