Absolutely LOVE these swim shorts! I haven’t been in the water with them yet, but I can’t see any reason to believe there will be problems. I’m about 5’5″ and 150, typically a size 12. I ordered the Large and they fit perfect. For anyone with a high waist like me, these actually fit at the waist, not around my hips, which creates a less than attractive bulge. I’ve never found a swim bottom before that actually hits at the waist! I love the length too, which falls about 4 inches above the knee. Long enough to cover my thighs, but not so long as to be incredibly frumpy. I’m in my mid 40’s and not ready to go that far yet if I don’t have to! My only slight disappointment is that the fabric is good quality (not thin), but there’s really no compression to help flatten the tummy. Out of curiosity, I’m going to order these in a Medium too and decide which fit I like better – perhaps a smaller size will provide more compression. I’ll keep whichever works better, but if you’re considering ordering these they are true to size. Can’t recommend these enough – I just wish they had many more colors. I’d buy several. Now if I could just find a tankini top that fits as well….

I’m a sz 16 ordered a XL and it fits perfect, nice thick material not cheap see through. Very pleased with purchase

Perfect, don’t roll when chasing the kiddos. I wear size 10-12 pants I bought L

I bought these to replace the skimpy bottom that cane with a pretty swimsuit. I have to say, when I ordered this shorts style everyone, including me, thought they would probably look weird. Lo and behold, they are awesome. It was a really cute look and I could even put my phone in the pocket.

We loved these and wanted to order another pair but they were out-DARN! They afford privacy for modest folks due to the liner and fit well. Have been used several times a week since ordered and still going strong. The person who is wearing them ordered the medium and is 5’6 and 125 lbs.
JMR –
These were great length for people with thick thighs. Comfy and sturdy.

I don’t have time for bottoms anymore that don’t have pockets and these were amazing! I wasn’t expecting and was pleasantly surprised to find that the shorts have a bikini-bottom liner built in, since they’re such long shorts and you don’t really need that – but I liked it! It felt very secure and like I was wearing regular clothes, like you’d wear underwear and bike shorts, except this was all in one.
They worked great for swimming, and the pockets were great to carry my phone over to the pool. Didn’t try swimming with anything in the pockets, but they’re pretty tight so I imagine if you put something small like a key or trinket, as long as you tucked it down into the pocket I imagine it would stay.
These worked great to wear to the beach and be able to carry a phone around, and have a place to tuck sunglasses real quick.
These also cost the same as swim shorts at a major retailer which didn’t have pockets! Are you kidding me? What a steal. I love these.

These bottoms cover all my insecurities. There is a panty inside that prevents the shorts from riding up. The waistband is secure and I didn’t have to keep pulling it up, the legs also stayed put. These are the most comfortable swim bottoms I’ve ever owned.
Vernita –
I like that the fit was great. The fabric is thick enough to smooth any imperfections of my thighs yet the fabric is very comfortable but not sheer. I will buy again. I wish there were more colors. I’m 156lb and purchased size M.

I bought these to wear with the Xando 2-piece swimsuit with boy shorts. The boy shorts barely came to my hip bones, so I bought these and they come up just below my navel and are longer which I like at my age of 69. I bought size large (I’m 5’11 1/2” and 150 lbs). They have a panty style lining (like men’s swim trunks have).
Nanny –
I really liked they were high waisted and not loose around legs. I wear 12-14 in bike shorts but these were 14-16 and were good. I ended up wearing in water and just as shorts too. I like the length also. I am 182 lbs and most of my overweight is in tummy area. My legs and butt are thin. They have panties inside too. Enjoy.

I bought the xxl in black. I am 5’5 and 225lbs. I took them on an all inclusive beach vacation and wore them for 6 straight days. Ladies….NO CHUB RUB!!! I rinsed each evening with small amount of Era and they were dry the next morning. They fit as expected and I loved the inside liner. Stayed put and was not tight at all. I brought them home and washed them and they look like new! Highly satisfied.

These are my favorite shorts. they are super soft and the material is pretty thick. You cant see any panty lines much less my panties through the material so they are great for going to the gym or quick runs to the store. I really like the side pockets in these too, they are pretty secure and deep, my phone has yet to even come close to falling out. The belly band is fantastic.
Sizing was fine, I looked at the size chart and ordered to what I would usually wear and they are perfect. I am 5’5″ and weigh around 150. Usual size is about a 6-8 depending on cut, I ordered a Large so it fits a little small based on sizing but the size chart was spot on.

Like many, I deal with chafing when wearing bathing suits – and I don’t love most of my crotch expose so I wear shorts, but that seems to make the chafing worse. We had a water park trip planned, so I decided I’d try these. I figured they would roll up or down but worth a try right?
Oh. My. God. They stayed perfectly in place all day. No chafing. No rolling. No adjusting at all all day. One day I went back to shorts with my suit and I was back in these by midday lunch break. All my swim bottoms are being replaced by these bad boys.
I wear between a 14-16 US and the XL fit perfectly. They have a ton of stretch to them so I feel like there’s a good deal of wiggle room in sizing.
Amazon Customer –
I bought a large, because I detest tight things. It doesn’t fit like a glove. At that size, there’s no tummy control. For me, it’s perfect. I’ve been wearing it shopping and biking and at the beach.
It’s comfortable. The built-in panty is practical. It dries fast. It’s great on hot days.
Totally recommended.
Chicago gal –
I wear a 16 but bought an 18. They fit great. I probably could have worn the 16, but didn’t want them to be binding. They have a panty lining layer, but you could probably wear them over another suit bottom (like under a swim dress) if you don’t get them too small.
Bonnie –
I was excited to about these shorts. I’m a forty-year-old mother of two who doesn’t want to worry about shaving my bikini line anymore, and these seemed like they’d be a perfect solution for taking my kids to the water park. I’m a bit disappointed. There is a seam right down the middle, with no triangle, so they cause a slight “camel toe.” They also started to roll down after just a few minutes of wearing them around the house.
AZN CUST NC –
I love the mid-thigh length and supportive fabric of these bottoms. Waistband lies flat and doesn’t need adjusting no matter if I am swimming, stretching or doing karate kicks in the pool.
Ana C. –
Wore them to the pool. The waist band is flattering and does not give muffin top. I am size 16/18 weight around 220lbs height is 5″4. Length was about three inches above knees and waist band sit slightly above bellybutton. They did not fold or roll down. They stayed in place. Very comfortable.
Wendy Dawson –
I love, love, love these swim shorts! They are a perfect length to prevent chafing when walking around but the best part is that they have a built in panty to keep everything well covered and secure when swimming. I highly recommend these.
Patricia C. Allen –
I really like these because they are longer than the tankini swim shorts. They are about mid thigh;; they are not too long to look out of style but long enough to feel just a little more modest. They go on easy and are flattering. I’ll be glad to wear them while at the beach.

Now that I’m older (65) I find that I’m not in love with my upper inner thighs and these are exactly what I was looking for. I bought them to go with my existing bathing suit tops, and I love that they have a lining and good coverage. I am 5’10” and 214 lbs, usually buy a 16, my shape is more apple and I don’t have very heavy thighs. I bought a xxl and they fit well at the waist but are looser on the leg opening than I would like. I will buy a xl on my next purchase for a little tighter fit there. I plan on using these for swimming and kayaking.
Sometimes I buy things –
I normally wear a large or XL (mostly to accommodate my chest and/or belly). I got these in a large to avoid sagging/stretching when wet. This is important because I normally get skin irritation. Well GOODBYE CHUB RUB! While these are not flattering with bikini top due to the slim waistband, they are the most comfy swim shorts ever! They don’t ride up, sag, or rub. For reference, I am about 5 feet, 150lb, and apple shaped. I wore them in the pool and the ocean, and have been able to wear them all day without irritation. I plan to get another pair so I can swap them out during summer.
happy shopper –
High quality. I have worn then more than 30 days swimming laps in chlorine. They have held up extremely well. Sizing? Pretty accurate. I wear a 12-14 pant, I am tall and high waisted. The XL was good. Probably could’ve gone to a L easily. These are good quality practical swim bottoms.

This is my second pair. I bought the blue 3 years ago. I now have the black pair in large. I am athletic and weigh 140 and am 5’6 inches tall. I wear these over a one -piece bathing suit which is why I sized up from my usual size M. Since I am active in the lake, I wanted a little more modesty and limit any wardrobe malfunctions. They are not too loose nor too tight. I highly recommend them. They could be worn well by themself with a separate top for lounging around near a pool.
