I tried out 6 different colors of these (navy, black, “red,” polka dot, the bright blue, and green). I ended up keeping the navy and black. These two were the only ones that had the more silky swim suit material, and good stretch. The others were more of a matte fabric (still swimsuit like, but almost rougher?) and had less give to them. The red is so not a shade of red, more a pink, so be aware of that.
The fit on the ones I kept is fantastic, no cutting into my belly. I got a medium. I’m 4’11, 105 lbs BUT I’ve had 3 kids and a csection, so my hips/ thighs are where I carry weight and am self conscious about. The side ties really are adjustable and they really do cover the thighs in a flattering way (they didn’t constantly ride up either!). I wore them pretty much day in and out for a week in Egypt, and they were modest enough that I was comfortable but not frumpy. These are also fully lined so no worries there. The return policy is excellent enough that I’d recommend ordering a few colors/ sizes and returning whatever doesn’t work. You won’t be disappointed with these!

I was surprised even after reading the reviews. I have a smaller waist but a little butt so I struggle to find bottoms that fit me right. These fit perfectly. I’m 135lbs and 5”6 almost 5”7 and ordered a medium.

To start off I am 5’3 and 160 lbs. my waist is 31” in Levi’s and a 12 in other pants. Looked at the size chart and got a large. Perfect fit! These shorts can be pulled up higher to look cheeky from the back, or lower. I have a small little pudge in the tummy and these hid it. Not to where I have a flat tummy but to make everything sleek. Best part is it doesn’t ride up or make it look like you have a toe. They’re a good length and they are exactly what I was looking for. If you’re hesitating go by the chart, it’s true to size!

I’m curvier on my bottom half(butt, thighs) and am uncomfortable in normal swim bottoms. I love boyshort style swim bottoms for coverage and these were perfect. They are long enough to cover what I want covered and I didn’t find myself having to adjust them constantly. The waistband was comfortable and didn’t dig. I really only wear black bottoms but would buy in another color if I ever need to.

I LOVE these bottoms SO much! I have a petite frame 5’4 110 lbs but carry all of my weight in my tush. These bottoms are comfy, still show off my curves, but don’t show off the cellulite that I loathe. They don’t ride up and you can adjust the sides to go higher or lower.
I feel confident once again at the pool and the beach!

I ordered a large which says it 12-14. I usually wear an 8. I’m 140, 29 inch waist, 41 inch hips and the large fit perfectly! If I had ordered the medium they would have been way too small. I would suggest sizing up. Great quality. Returned because I found a slightly better style but I really did like these.

Great stretch, drawstring make it sassier, polka dot print is flattering and versatile. May buy in more colors.

These boy shorts bottoms are amazing. I got two pairs black and navy. They actually cover your butt unlike most bikini bottoms lately. Which is great when you want to still look sporty and feel good at the beach BUT have small children to chase and wrangle up that are constantly on the move.

I tried many brands and this was the only one that fit me well. I have small hips 33 and the Small fit me like a glove. All other brands I tried with a similar boyshort style were way to big on Small. As a reference I am 5.6 and weight 120lb.

This is my 2nd pair of these. I have them in black and now navy blue. I plan on getting the gray and polka dot ones next. Due to various hardships, I recently put on a lot of weight. 40+ pounds. These swim shorts helped me feel a little bit better about myself. I wear them at the pool or even around the house and outside doing work in the yard. They are short enough to still feel like bathing suit attire but can be adjusted longer or shorter with the strings depending on how I want them to fall. I ordered a tankini and plan on wearing that with these if it fits in a flattering way. I’ll add picture if it does. For the record, I’m 43, 5’6″, 220LBS and I ordered the XL

For reference, I’m 5’5 and between a size 4 and 6 jeans. Now onto the actual review:
It’s so nice to finally find full coverage swim bottoms that are actually FULL coverage! No cheek peek with these. I’m 5’5 and the bottoms come about 1/2 inch or so past my butt. It’s also nice that you can adjust the side ties to change the style up. I originally ordered a small and while they fit they were a little snug so I returned and ordered a medium (better fit). I have not worn them swimming yet but the material is thick and it passes the squat test and other bending movements without anything showing or seeing through.

Cons:
~Runs small. I think all bathing suits run small, may be why so many women hate bathing suit shopping…lol. Pay attention to size chart based on your measurements, not what you think your size should be
Sizing:
~Interesting find: If you look at a girl’s PLUS size chart, it must be girls (not women) and must be the PLUS size, plug in your hip and waist measurements and you get the number size that matches this sellers size chart. My girls PLUS size is 12-14 corresponding to the sellers large. This may help someone decide between sizes or confirm the size they were thinking.
~My measurements: I am 5’6″, 135 pounds, hips are 36″, waste is 29″, BMI 21.8, wear sizes: ⅚, small and medium depending on style/manufacturer…. And apparently a LARGE (12-14) in bathing suits on Amazon.
~I like this style of bikini bottom to fit well, tight enough to not slip out of place when it’s wet, but not so snug it’s squeezing and creating a muffin top. So if I am close to the next size, I prefer to size up.

Love the fit. Stretches nicely for a curvy bootie. The white is slightly more reveling than I’m normally comfortable wearing but the other colors are great! Not shear by any means, but something to consider if you want complete coverage. I would be so happy if they bring back the “peacock” color.

I bought the fuchsia in size M. I’m a solid size 4, 37.5” hips, 26.5” natural waist. I maybe could have gone with a small, but I hate my swim bottoms too tight. The fit is great, exactly what I expected. I was a little worried the shorts would be too tight around my thighs, cuz I’ve got some thighs, but they don’t dig at all. The band comes to about an inch below my belly button. The color is pretty close to the pic, a nice pinkish wine color. I have mostly solid separates, this looks really cute with an expensive IG brand bandeau I have in a Barbie pink, the quality of the material is very close too! What a deal!
