We are leaving for vacation in a few days and I was desperate for a solution to the age old problem. I tried swim dresses and they just didn’t feel right for me. A coworker suggested these and I’m glad she did.
These are fantastic. I love that they have a built in panty, which I didn’t see mentioned in other reviews. Perfect for someone who wants a modest fit, especially after weight loss.
These are a loose but that is my own fault. I went with the recommendations of others and ordered an 18 even though my normal size is a 16. I am just under 5’3”, 211 pounds, and they come above my knees. The drop is about an 1-1/2” so I won’t have to worry about them creeping up.

I bought these to take on my first cruise. They were perfect. It looked like I was wearing shorts but when it came time to get in the water I didn’t have to worry about changing, I just took off my shirt that I had on over my bathing suit top and I was ready to go. Everything dried quickly and I was ready to go. Having the panty lining made them just perfect. And being older and not liking the my thighs look, the long legs was ideal. I would recommend them to anyone that wants a longer leg bathing suit.

I have worn these 4 times now, 3 times kayaking and once paddle boarding and I love them! So much so, that I am going to order a second pair.
I am a 56 yo, 5’5″, 185 lb woman who has a 15 yo sports-minded daughter that keeps me going! I ordered a size 16 (my normal pant size) and they fit great. They aren’t so tight that they cut into my thighs yet they stay put and aren’t riding up while I’m climbing in and out of the kayak.
I wash in warm, rinse in cold, with mild detergent and hang to dry (like I do with all our my swim clothes) and I haven’t notice any deterioration yet. Though the black was not a black-black to begin with… not as black as my swim bra, but not gray either.

These are, hands down, the best swim shorts I’ve ever had!!! I loved them so much I ordered a second pair. They wash beautifully (although I did not put them in the dryer- they air dried very quickly) and do not shrink. I love the built in panty. They are great for water parks. Legs don’t rub and they are cool and comfortable. Legs don’t ride up. Just great!

I bought these swim shorts for a trip to the water park. Let’s be honest girls the worst part of going to a water park is that you have to walk around in your suit and it doesn’t take very long until you feel that feeling….you know….the one where your legs start rubbing together and before long it feels like you’re on an episode of Survivor rubbing two sticks together to start a fire. With these shorts you can avoid that feeling all together. What a life saver!
They did stretch a bit when they got wet. Not so much they were hard to keep up, but they did begin to cover the tops of my knees and the leg openings got a bit loose. In fairness, I bought them a size up from normal bc I did not want to create another belly roll if they were a little tight and hit in an unfortunate spot, but I really think I could’ve ordered my regular size and been fine. In fact, I probably order the smaller size when I order my next pair. I’m definitely going to need a second pair for the lake this summer.

these are almost exactly what I was hoping for. They are kind of like short leggings – not loose like shorts. Comfortable, modest, attractive things for swimming and kayaking.
I got the drawstring type so they don’t fall down in the surf. They do have underwear built-in, and it’s very hard for me to find the panty line. The fabric is really thin, not like neoprene. That’s what I want, so they will dry quickly and be late.
I have not tried them in the water yet, but they seem like exactly what I wanted.
The only thing I don’t care for is that they are not as long wasted as I am. I thought they would come to my natural waist, but they really sit just above the hip and below my belly button unless I really pull them up in an awkward way. That will be a “live with“, as I will be wearing them with a rash guard anyway, so no one will see, but they aren’t as comfortable or flattering as I had hoped. It will do.
In case it helps anyone, my current measurements are:

I have three boys and never felt comfortable showing a lot of skin since the first was born. I have large thighs and some “flaws” I like to keep to myself, I still want to go swimming with my family and be comfortable in what I wear. I have tried regular swim boy leg shorts and they are horrible, too loose my legs rub together, just not a pretty picture, these shorts are perfect. They are Bermuda short length fits right at the knee. They are soft and comfortable and true to size, I was worried they would be so tight they would cut my blood circulation, they DO NOT. I ordered the size 14, I am a regular US large 12/14. I also ordered a tankini to go with these. I was unsure about getting them because of the longer length mostly because Of feeling like I wouldn’t fit in with the others, but who cares I guess as long as I am comfortable with my family.

Great product for the price. Sizing If you can wear a size 10 US and some 12 Us in pants order a Med. If you wear a 12 US and some 14Us order the large. I sized up but I normally wear a 10 and once and awhile a 12 in pants depending on the brand. But the large are to big for me. Shape wear can run small at times these are true to size. The should be just a little tighter. I used them today they worked for me had a little more room for bending while doing squats. Since I have a waste trainer that is nice and snug to over lap them a little they worked fine I also did not seem to feel wet inside them which is nice. So the fabric is doing its job soaking up the sweat. I hand washed and rinsed did not take that long to dry and returned to the proper shape.

Definitely recommend for us bigger girls. Hid cellulite, jiggles, etc. I actually felt comfy in the water with my kids!

I wore these for a full day of activities in the Riviera Maya. Ocean, cenote, underground cave, kayaking, lagoon swimming. They were wonderful in all settings. Long enough (just above my knee), comfortable, stayed in place, fit but didn’t squeeze me. I wore them all day long and I normally get very uncomfortable, which normally I’m very impatient with clothing I wear all day and can’t wait to take it off.

I am a size 26 on bottom and 24 on top. These are very comfortable! Thick material but breathable. High waisted and they really are like capris. I’m 6ft y’all and I was able to somewhat hike them up to above my knee. Was not expecting them to be that long as I will be using them for swim shorts, however for how comfortable they are I will definitely take that sacrifice! Fits like a glove but I am fuller in the lower belly so others may want to size down. Overall, they have a really nice expensive feel to them for how much they are worth.

Unbelievably comfortable and they look great, too! I’m not one to write a whole lot of reviews, but these shorts made me grab my phone and start spreading the word! They feel like “butta” on your body and fit true to size, if not the slightest bit roomy. They really look great with a tankini! I can’t wait for swimming weather now!
